As we begin to bundle up for the first, crisp, autumn days in New York and marvel at the new designs in New York Bridal Fashion Week, we can’t help but fall in love with the Marsala wedding palette all over again… From our favorite Ranunculus to local Dahlias, leather and wool fabrics, to our go-to nail lacquers and lipsticks (gloss and matte alike), this color knows no bounds!

Voted by the Pantone Color Institute as “Color of the Year 2015”, Marsala is a full-bodied, earthy wine red that looks GORGEOUS in any context or texture. The richness lends itself to the refined tapestry of old world glam while its boldness marries well with contemporary metallics. It’s no wonder why we have been so taken with it; Marsala generously lends itself to complement any hue, stands up to any texture, and redefines any design we can think to throw at it. It’s love at every sight!

Here’s a rustic-chic garden moment we did last week at Chelsea Piers Sunset Terrace:

And a clean, contemporary feel on the rooftop of Ink 48:

In short, Marsala is closing out the 2015 wedding season with a sultry sophistication that we simply adore!!
